LEAD REVERSE LOGISTICS COORDINATOR

Performing operational functions for reverse logistics including: receiving, reconciling and shipping club vendor returns; communicating with Home Office and vendors relating to timely and accurate movement of freight from selling clubs to vendors; coordinating carrier scheduling for timely return of freight to vendors; reporting of transactions, issues and problems to lead and/or manager; ensure 100% transaction accuracy both physically and systemically; and operating powered equipment including: forklift and pallet jack. Overall lead responsibilities include assisting manager with directing team member and temporary staff work assignments; researching and resolving inventory variances; and training new hires and temporary associates on proper work procedures as well as complying with all policy, procedures and safety programs.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities

• Participate in the receiving, reconciling and shipping club vendor returns and communicate with Home Office and vendors relating to timely and accurate movement of freight from selling clubs to vendors.
• Systemic control of all products through the use of the inventory management system. Report transactions, issues and problems to lead and/or manager to ensure 100% transaction accuracy both physically and systemically.
• Consult with the shift supervisor to determine daily work assignments based on volume. Assign tasks to team members that support daily plan. Communicate among peers. Monitor productivity and adjust work assignments as needed.
• Train new hires and temporary associates on the proper procedures for handling freight safely. Research and resolve inventory variances and respond to team members questions and issue.
• Positively and proactively work with your team. Listen to your team and lead by example. Have good leadership, organizational and time management skills.
• Maintain a safe and professional work environment. Display good communication skills and ability to work well with others.
• Must be able to work independently and with minimal supervision.
• Maintains all Distribution Center policies and procedures
• Performs other duties as assigned, including working in other departments as needed.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.

Environmental Job Conditions

• Frequently requires lifting objects up to 30 pounds. May require lifting and moving heavy and/or awkward objects greater than 30 pounds with assistance.
• Located in an indoor environment with exposure to changing temperatures, including heat and cold, noise and dust.
• Perform repetitive, dexterous movements related to computer use and data entry
• When needed stand, sit, bend, twist, lift for up to 8 hours a day
