REG MEMBERSHIP SALES MANAGER

Direct regional team of Metro Reps, Corporate Reps, and Blitz Reps for a geographic area of clubs. Responsible for meeting defined membership goals by managing and the development of a strategic membership sales force to acquire Business and Inner Circle memberships. Develop the programs specific to the challenges and opportunities for each region to achieve membership acquisition and retention and club sales through direct sales effort. Manages the field execution of all sales activity, working closely with 'Regional Operations Mangers and Zone Marketing/HO Marketing management. Responsible for the management, training and development of regional sales team insuring that all activities are executed within established sales/marketing policies and ethical standards and company guidelines and budgets, working with General Managers. Team Member relations, LP, etc. Requires outstanding leadership, training, motivation, and team building skills to meet the challenges of managing a decentralized staff within the club/field environment. 

  • Management of the regional sales team of Metro reps and corporate reps and Blitz reps including the identification of strengths and weakness, further development of the sales organization and execution. Must provide direction to execute all sales goals. Must develop all marketing programs to best address market conditions. Work closely with Regional ops, GM, Team Member Relations Manager, Regional LP, and all club marketing staff. Must protect BJ's by insuring membership sales team members meet the highest standards on ethics, dishonesty, misrepresentation, and sales rep specific policies and procedures while maintaining the integrity of the program.
  • Identify opportunities for the region that could be different by club. Requires the ability to develop a strategic plan to address underperforming clubs, and areas for increased membership penetration. Recommend specific sales efforts for the region identify problems and identify solutions to solve membership sales problems. Insure that all membership re sales activity is in compliance with all policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for working with the Zone or Home Office Marketing and or Operations on projects as assigned. Responsible for any training issues or added training needs. Periodic review of current field sale policy and procedures with possible solutions and feedback or recommendations to the Home Office Manager of Membership sales or higher dept. Manager.

 Requirements

  • 3-5 years in management with a background in marketing and or wholesale environment.
  • Strong management and strategic selling skills, Superior communication skills required.
  • Minimum of one year experience in a cold calling selling situation. And one year of management background.
