ASSOCIATE REGIONAL MEMBERSHIP SALES MANAGER

Associate Regional Membership Sales Manager

Reporting into the Regional Manager of Field Membership Sales, the Associate Regional Membership Sales Manager will co-manage the regional sales team to meet defined Membership plans.

Responsibilities

  • Recruits, trains, manages, and develops regional sales team and ensures that all sales plans and activities are executed within established policies, ethical standards, and company guidelines/budgets.
  • Represents BJ’s as a strong brand ambassador at community and corporate events to promote awareness of the BJ’s brand and membership signups.
  • Executes all marketing programs to best address market conditions.
  • Tracks all sales on a daily, weekly, monthly basis and ensures all sales reported are processed on a timely basis.
  • Analyzes data and develops a strategic plan to support any underperforming clubs, and any opportunities for increased membership penetration. Collaborates with clubs to align on goals and opportunities within primary trading areas.
  • Manages, oversees and motivates all aspects of a new club pre-opening membership drive from management of membership center, walk -in sales, recruitment and development of sales team, participation in outside events, and outside field sales through effective territory management.
  • Collaborates with other teams on special projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 3-5 years in management with a background in marketing or wholesale environment
  • At least 1 year of experience in a cold calling selling situation
  • Computer Proficiency, including windows products and the ability to learn BJ’s specific membership and travel applications and programs
  • Strong management, strategic selling, training, motivation and coaching skills
  • Superior communication skills
  • Requires 30% Travel.
