CROSSDOCK FORKLIFT OPERATOR

The responsibility of the Crossdock Forklift Operator is to perform general warehouse activities. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

• Accurately receiving and uploading trailers, physical breakdown of merchandise, building and stretch wrapping of pallets
• Shuttling merchandise from receiving to shipping, laydown and storage areas
• Loading of product into shipping trailers
• Coordinating inbound and outbound storage freight
• Sorting and distributing pallets to be utilized within the warehouse
• Using hand held units to verify merchandise being distributed
• Operating powered equipment including: forklift, pallet jack, tugger and clamp attachments

 Requirements

• Previously forklift experience preferred
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs without assistance. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with assistance
• Ability to work in warehouse environment which includes heat, cold, noise, dust
• When needed working on powered equipment for up to 8 hours per day
• When needed standing, bending, lifting for up to 8 hours per day 
• FORKLIFT EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED!
