CROSSDOCK FORKLIFT OPERATOR

The responsibility of the Crossdock Forklift Operator is to perform general warehouse activities. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

  • Accurately receiving and uploading trailers, physical breakdown of merchandise, building and stretch wrapping of pallets
  • Shuttling merchandise from receiving to shipping, laydown and storage areas
  • Loading of product into shipping trailers
  • Coordinating inbound and outbound storage freight
  • Sorting and distributing pallets to be utilized within the warehouse
  • Using hand held units to verify merchandise being distributed
  • Operating powered equipment including: forklift, pallet jack, tugger and clamp attachments

 Requirements

  • Previously forklift experience preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs without assistance. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with assistance
  • Ability to work in warehouse environment which includes heat, cold, noise, dust
  • When needed working on powered equipment for up to 8 hours per day
  • When needed standing, bending, lifting for up to 8 hours per day 

 

 

Job Title: Web Comm Selector

Job Summary

Performing E-Commerce activities including: accurately receiving merchandise into e-commerce inventory, accurately and efficiently process E-Commerce orders, ensure all merchandise is properly stocked and stored in all slot locations, accurately picking, sealing and packing orders for shipping, ensuring all completed orders are shipped utilizing the appropriate shipping software while ensuring 100% accuracy with customer address and tracking number, process club member returns, reconciling all discrepancies, including overages, shortages and damages, activation and reconciliation of gift card orders, and operating powered equipment including: forklift, pallet jack and tug as needed.

 

Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities

  • Accurately receive merchandise into e-commerce inventory, while maintaining systemic control of all products through the DC Warehouse Management System (WMS), SAP and the E-Commerce Inventory Management system.
  • Efficiently process E-Commerce orders by picking, sealing and packing orders for shipping.
  • All completed orders must be shipped utilizing the E-commerce shipping software while ensuring 100% accuracy with customer address and tracking number. 
  • Processing club member returns and reconciling all discrepancies.
  • Responsible for providing accurate cycle count's for articles, locations, or merchandise categories as directed by leadership and reconciling any issues identified as a result of the counts. 
  • Assist in training all new team members in accordance with policies and procedures.
  • Operation of power equipment as required by specific job duties
  • Displays good communication skills and displays the ability to work well with others. 
  • Must be able to work independently and with minimal supervision. 
  • Maintains all DC policies and procedures
  • Maintains a safe and professional work environment
  • Performs other duties as assigned, working in other departments as needed
  • Available to work weekends, holidays and overtime as needed.

 

Qualifications

  • At least 18 years of age.
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic computer and data entry skills
  • Ability to read and write English, follow and provide verbal instruction in English
  • Bilingual preferred, English fluency required

 

 

Environmental Job Conditions

  • Frequently requires lifting objects up to 30 pounds. May require lifting and moving heavy and/or awkward objects greater than 30 pounds with assistance.
  • Located in an indoor environment with exposure to changing temperatures, including heat and cold, noise and dust.
  • Perform repetitive, dexterous movements related to computer use and data entry
  • Ability to stand, sit, bend, twist, lift for up to 8 hours a day

  • Consult with the shift supervisor and/or department lead to determine daily work assignments based on volume.  Communicate among peers.  Adjust work assignments as directed by supervisor and/or lead when needed.
  • Work with new hires and temporary associates on the proper procedures for handling freight safely.
  • Systemic control of all products through the use of the Warehouse Management System (WMS).  Ensure all pallet movements are scanned in and out of location maintaining an accurate audit trail. 
  • Maintain a safe and professional work environment. 
  • Display good communication skills and ability to work well with others.
  • Must be able to work independently and with minimal supervision.
  • Maintains all Distribution Center policies and procedures
