eCommerce Operations Specialist

 

The eCommerce Operations Specialist is responsible for supporting operational activities related to ensuring successful order processing on BJs.com. These activities include monitoring the day to day order management activities of BJ’s order management system, data management and analytics, coordinating operational activities with BJ’s internal distribution center, and supporting BJ’s member care team for customer service inquiries.  This role supports our third-party partners, particularly in the areas of payment processing and fraud. They will work cross functionally with partners throughout the organization and will provide ongoing support to the buying organization in areas related to eCommerce. 

 

 

Successful candidates will be able to apply a strong business and functional understanding of retail supply-chain, fulfillment, customer service, as well as:

 

  • Support our third-party fraud review partnership with CyberSource as well as monitoring and tracking chargebacks through our payment processor, Vantiv.
  • Provide member support through our Member Care team for issue resolution as it relates to fraud.
  • Work cross functionally to provide tools, reporting and systems support for multi-channel initiatives. This role will support the Product Owner to offer recommendations for system upgrades and enhancements and will work with the Support teams to identify bugs and systemic opportunities.
  • Respond to ad hoc requests related to shipping and freight, order processing, data management, etc.
  • Day to day support of all post-order payment, freight, and supply chain process and business applications

 

 

Requirements:

 

  • Combination of retail eCommerce and traditional brick and mortar experience
  • Experience with eCommerce order management applications (IBM Sterling and CyberSource preferred)
  • Ability to comfortably communicate with both technical and non-technical business resources
  • Minimum of 2 years experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • Experience configuring complex retail systems

  • Experience with drop ship and eCommerce warehouse operations
