As an intern you would report to a VP or above and be assigned a mentor that will help you navigate the day to day operations 

 

The Communications and Events intern will support the corporate communications team with the annual BJ’s Charity Championship, a fundraiser for the BJ’s Charitable Foundation. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Responsibilities:

  • Support fundraising outreach, manage fundraising tracking and goals.
  • Recommend additional fundraising opportunities and support the planning of the annual golf tournament, including overall event logistics and activation.
  • Also support events, public relations programs and community programming in the lead up to several new club openings.
  • Review current fundraising and golf registration process & build a new, more efficient process
  • Update key community and giving sites – Aisle Help, Community page on BJs.com and Team Member Giving page
  • Plan VIP event in new market

Requirements:

  • GPA of 3.4 or above
  • Preferred major:Communications, Journalism, Marketing
  • Leadership experience in programs, projects, clubs-preferred
  • Proficient in Excel, MS office, and Data Analysis
  • Strong verbal and written communication
