The  Merchandising  - Ecommerce Buying intern will be responsible for Support and assist the Ecommerce Buying team in reviewing & driving our BJS.com business.  Candidate will attend vendor meetings and participate in strategy sessions.  Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Responsibilities:

  • Develop process for evaluating sales productivity of E-mail marketing.
  • Enhance on-line merchandise of under penetrated categories to growth on-line presences.
  • Identify on-line sales opportunities in under penetrated categories on BJS.com.
    • Expected to use industry data along with internal report to develop evaluation.
  • Assis buyers in seasonal category review preparation and presentations.

Requirements:

  • GPA of 3.4 or above
  • Preferred major: Business, Marketing, Finance
  • Leadership experience in programs, projects, clubs-preferred
  • Proficient in Excel, MS office, PowerPoint and Data Analysis
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Retail experence preferred
