SENIOR HRIS ANALYST

The Senior HRIS Analyst is responsible for maintaining and supporting the HRIS System (PeopleSoft) and other systems supported by the HRIS team (i.e. SuccessFactors, bswift). This role performs data analysis, develops custom reports and dashboards to meet business needs, assists with system maintenance and testing, serves as a technical point of contact for troubleshooting, identifies opportunities for constant process improvement, and creates documentation and training to ensure HRIS systems are maintained and accurate. The Senior HRIS Analyst interacts with HR, Payroll and other departments to understand current and future demands.

  • Lead project teams for integrations, upgrades, implementations, modifications and enhancements, and participate in issue tracking and resolution for all HR systems.
  • Assist with impact analysis for changes to HR system utilizing a strong ability to translate HR data across multiple systems. Ability to conduct user testing including creating test plans, executing test plans, communicating testing timelines, coordinating tasks among departments and vendors, creating documentation prior to implementation, and assuring a successful rollout.
  • Propose, document and implement new or revised processes to improve data integrity and promote the consistent use of HR data. Identify potential solutions and recommend the best course of action.
  • Identify, create, and manage reports to support the business. Understand data requirements and reporting needs to generate complex queries and reports. Ability to generate complex reports using SQL, Excel and Access.
  • Resolves system issues and acts as a "troubleshooter" for Human Resources. Researches and identifies the root causes for problems and owns the resolution.
  • Audit systems for data integrity. Ensure security and integrity of HR information through established security protocol. Perform specialized analysis of employee data.
  • Support special projects and other duties as assigned. 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Human Resources, or a related field
  • 5+ years HRIS experience in the analysis, maintenance, and support of HRIS.
  • Proficient knowledge in PeopleSoft or equivalent human capital application, advanced Microsoft Office skills, experience with multiple HR systems (Benefits Administration, Applicant Tracking, etc.)
  • HCM implementation experience recommended
  • Demonstrated ability to research problems, apply analytical techniques and follow through to resolution.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, listening skills and customer relationship building skills.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple projects simultaneously with efficiency and accuracy.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • PHR certification is desirable but not required.
