Summary of Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the VP, Talent Management, HR and business teams to build a robust multi-year strategy to support the talent management lifecycle at BJ’s which includes Talent Planning, Talent Assessment, Team Member Engagement, Performance Management, Succession Planning and Talent Development.
    • Design and measure team member engagement and partner with HR and business teams to drive improvements and enhance strengths
    • Identify and develop leaders within critical roles, lead the succession planning process and create development strategies across talent pools
    • Partner with field and home office teams to create and implement leader development programs to prepare leaders for future roles
    • Collaborate with HR/business teams to relaunch the performance management process including creating a culture of continuous feedback and strong goal alignment
    • Integrate and implement talent assessment tools into business processes to identify, develop and retain high performing and high potential talent
    • Launch and lead integration efforts for BJ’s new leadership model including creating and leading learning experiences for leader development
    • Evaluate and track key metrics to determine overall effectiveness of Talent Management initiatives
    • Create and lead executive level talent development programs

Position Requirements:

  • 10+ years’ experience in Organizational Development, Leader Development, Talent Management
  • Exceptional listening and written communication skills
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with all levels of the organization
  • Self-starter and ability to proactively drive initiatives
  • Project management experience required
